Shalva National Center is an organization that provides an all-encompassing range of services for people with disabilities from infancy to adulthood and their families. Founded by Malki and Kalman Samuels, Shalva is dedicated to giving equal access and opportunity to all participants, regardless of religion, ethnic background, or financial capability. Shalva supports families in raising their children with disabilities within the family framework and offers advocacy and inclusion initiatives to inspire a more inclusive society. Their services include early intervention, inclusive education, rehabilitative recreation, sports and wellness, oral health, family support, adult programs, vocational training, independent living, and various therapies. They also run community initiatives such as the Shalva Band, Team Shalva in the Jerusalem Marathon, Café Shalva, the Bnei Mitzva Project, cultural events, and the Shalva Hapoel Jerusalem Basketball Team.
