The Israeli Chamber of Information Technology is a public association that consolidates, develops, and represents all individuals involved in information technology and computing in Israel, aiming to create social, organizational, and business value and to provide a stable professional environment for the advancement of its members. The Chamber works to preserve and improve the professional competence, status, and public and professional recognition of its members based on the synergy and advantages of a professional and social network among its members. It also sees its mission in the relationship and responsibility towards the entire computing and high-tech industry and those involved in it in the State of Israel; in industry, services, government and public service, public authorities, and defense forces, as well as among the public, society, and the state in Israel. The Chamber has chosen to commemorate in its name the memory of Mr. Shlomo Tiran, a pioneer of computing in Israel.
The Chamber of Information Technology is currently preparing to expand its database of consultants and lecturers who are experts in various fields to provide professional consulting and conduct professional lectures requiring special knowledge and expertise.
