Global business holds exciting opportunities for growth and profit, but working across cultures can be complex. Each culture has its unique values, beliefs, and paradigms, and these differences are often invisible until there is a problem. We might find that we have offended someone, misunderstood instructions, or unintentionally broken the protocol. This can result in lost opportunities and trust.
Cultural Competency starts with awareness of subtle differences and how to navigate them successfully. Our training covers the specific behaviors and strategies for working effectively in different cultures, relevant to clients' needs. Whether you communicate via text, voice, video, or in person, if you want to build rapport and avoid conflict across cultures, it is essential to develop Cultural Competency.
Part of the skillsets we teach is understanding each participant's level of cultural competency, then understanding how other cultures perceive him/her. Once we know our own biases and learn the cultural values and characteristics of our colleagues in the target market we can build a trust-based and sustainable business relationship.
Our client list includes the U.S. Navy, Startup organizations, Hi-tech, Export companies, Global law offices, Governmental organizations such as the Israeli Export Institute and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and other organizations in various industries. We also work with international organizations to facilitate an understanding of the Israeli Business culture.
We are looking to work with global organizations that need to understand how business is conducted cross-border.
