The World Nuclear Forum 193 (WNF-193) is a collective of approximately 270 scientists and senior representatives specializing in nuclear and radiology fields from various disciplines including academia, industry, research institutes, and security. It includes around 45 members from Israel and 225 scientists from 31 different countries such as Canada, the USA, Germany, Malaysia, India, the UK, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Ukraine, and Finland. WNF-193 aims to provide public safety and security through clear and unbiased information in the fields of nuclear and radiology. The forum engages in activities like in-depth analysis of nuclear issues, emergency preparedness planning, writing position papers, conducting in-house tutorials, addressing legislation and regulations regarding nuclear power, assessing nuclear risks, and enhancing public opinion and acceptance of nuclear power. They emphasize the idea that nuclear energy is safe, effective, and beneficial when properly understood. The forum operates with a vision of neutrality, equality, and diversity of opinions, intending to facilitate quality decision-making, especially during crises. They encourage synergy through mutual knowledge sharing to enrich global understanding and aim to develop a complete network of representatives from 193 + 2 countries. Their activities also include publishing newsletters, promoting research, and analyzing information.
